Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)
Directed by: Matt Reeves
Wriiten by: Mark Bomback, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver

The Apes are the main characters in this film. You see them running their community in the wild. The first quatar of the film is like a wildlife documentary. The achievement in mocap, stunt and the CGI are incredible. The production team is taking technology to the next level.
The movie is 130 mins long, but you wouldn't get enough of it. The tension keeps on building up. The dam, the arsenal and Koba. We are emotionally connected to these animals more than the humans in the film.
Andy Serkis, the king of mocap is killing it. His portrayal of Caesar is just mesmerising. One of the biggest sub in Oscar 2012 is him not getting a nom for his performance in the first film. I saw an interview where a dumb interviewer asked him what do you think of blablabla as a mocap artist. He anwsered "well I don't see myself as a mocap artist. I see myself as an actor." Grace.
The 3rd film will be out in 2016. No official tiltle name yet. Any guess?
