What films will you watch on a plane? Films you don't mind is edited, films you don't mind watching it on and off, films you don't mind watching on a small screen, films you don't need to think about and films that are just entertaining enough to keep you awake.

I watched Percy Jackson on plane. I found they are perfect films to watch on plane. No, it's not a compliment at all.

Either films are exciting nor interesting enough. Thge story is plain as hell. It's a children film so you know the protagonists are going to tackle the quests and no one will die. It's just too simple, somtimes naive.

I love the concept though. I am a big fan of Greek myths. I bet the books are much better work. They sre one of the best-selling young adult series.

The cast of the gods and godness is pretty aewsome. Sean Bean played Zeus. I guess he's not gonna die. After all he's Zeus, right...? Kevin McKidd form the awesome HBO show "Rome" played Poseidon. Steve Coogan, the leading actor, co-writer and producer of "Philomena", played the lord of Underworld Hades. Uma Thurman is Medusa. Nathan Fillion from "Castle" is Hermes. Stanley Tucci, the witty TV host from "The Hunger Games" is Dionysus, the god of wine. All-star cameos.

There are 3 more books from this series so I guess there are 3 more installments coming. Despite lukewarm reviews, this franchise gained huge commercial success. There's no way to stop.
