This 5th Step Up film is directed by Trish Sie. She is famous for directing OK Go's music video "Here It Goes Again", which went viral. That's brilliant but it is not.

This is by far the biggest Step Up film. Our favourite dancers are back, including fan-fav Moose. The production is huge. The customers, the lighting, the setting, the dancer floor is over the top. It makes sense because we're in Legas baby. However, it made the film slick...

The previous installment "Step Up Revolution" is by far my fav. Those choreography are awesome as hell. The company dance choreographed by Christopher Scott, the meseum dance and the deary contemporary dance choreographed by Travis Wall, and of course the big finale showdown. I never get tired of watching them. I felt like there aren't any pieces in this new film as memorable as them.

The dancers themselves though, are amazing as always. As a big "So You Think You Can Dance" fan, I am very pleased to see more SYTYCD alumni join tWitch in this dance crew. I saw Cyrus the robot, Comfort and Emilio who was competing in the recent season, thanks to the producer of the franchise Adam Shankman (also guest judge of SYTYCD). Like the film said, it's not easy to make a living through dancing.
